• Law on Insurance Premium Tax ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro", No. 027/04 dated 28.04.2004, 037/04 dated 04.06.2004, “Official Gazette of Montenegro", No. 073/10 dated 10.12.2010, 040/11 dated 08.08.2011, 061/13 dated 30.12.2013, 006/14 dated 04.02.2014)

The tax rate is 9%.

This tax is paid by insurance companies irrespectivelly of whether they are performing the insurance activities personally or through their agents.
